When she discovers that her father is living a wealthy existence in Lagos, Nigeria she is determined to confront him and disguises herself as a maid to gain entry into his household. Arriving in Lagos, during a locust plague, she discovers not only that her father is married but his house of cards is about to topple on him and only her and her legal eagle fiancé can save him from financial ruin and a political scandal. Original Highlife music score by Cameroon-Nigerian maestro Ladi “This Kind of Man” Kong throbs throughout the two-hour drama with music.
